We have discovered ways to rebuild our units around these failures and eliminate any weakness. At Transmission King we offer our in-house "THE MONSTER60E". This is a fully rebuilt and upgraded 4L60-E transmission with a top of the line torque converter($150 additional). We also offer " THE BEAST700", this is a fully rebuilt and upgraded 700r4 with a top of the line torque converter($150 additional). THE 4L60E UNIT IS A FULLY ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED TRANSMISSION, MANY FAILURES ARE FROM SECONDARY MALFUNCTIONS OR ISSUES. WE HAVE SEEN IGNITION SWITCHES, TPS SENSORS, SPEED SENSORS, BAD WIRING HARNESS AND PLUGS, BLOWN FUSES, AND ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DISPLAYED CAN AFFECT HOW THIS UNIT PERFORMS. SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR VEHICLE THOROUGHLY.
THE 700R4 HAS A KNOWN KILLER, THE MISADJUSTMENT OF THE TV CABLE. I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT IF THE CABLE IS NOT SET CORRECTLY THE TRANSMISSION WILL BE DAMAGED. THESE UNITS WILL SHIFT POORLY, RECEIVE LOW LINE PRESSURE, NOT REACH OVERDRIVE, NO REVERSE AND MANY OTHER SYMPTOMS OF A FAILING TRANSMISSION IF THIS CABLE IS NOT SET CORRECTLY.
